Hosted by Auburn City Council on Tuesday 7 September, the awards offered a light-hearted event to acknowledge and celebrate the achievements of the many businesses across the Duck River precincts of Silverwater, Camellia, Rosehill, Granville and Auburn. We acknowledged the sustainability successes of these businesses with a special Duck River Idol award ceremony. Certificates were presented to the participants highlighting their area(s) of achievement including energy, waste, water, transport, business, money, community.
