Green Day at the Races
The operator of Rosehill racecourse, the Sydney Turf Club (STC), takes sustainability seriously, introducing measures such as the installation of energy saving light bulbs, rain water harvesting for use in landscaping and the promotion of rail travel to patrons in order to reduce its ecological footprint. In January 2009 the STC held the world's first carbon neutral Green Race Day.
